The Tourist 02:40
Hey son, whatcha doing here? It’s been a long time Heard you moved to New York City And I’ve heard there’s lots of crime Oh-oh where you going? I’m drifting towards that neon glow Feeling like a tourist In the only town I’ve ever known Well boy we vote red around here Don’t you forget your roots Dirty hands make a clean living And I don’t see any mud on your suit Oh-oh lonely valley The wind is groaning through the trees I’m just a tourist Floating in on an easy breeze Oh-oh city slicker Small town problems will get you down I’m just a tourist Gone before I see the clouds

Nebraska 03:58
I used to love a girl called Nebraska She had long hair and deep pockets where she kept her shiny things In my dreams I’m South Dakota In my room I’m Tennessee I thought I saw her in a restaurant In an old inn, where the sun shines through an empty glass In waving fields I see her waiting In concrete trees, fade memories Of autumn chimes and telephone lines One day I’ll see her on my tv screen Coming through in red, blue, and green If Nebraska’s such a pretty place Why can’t I remember her face? Nebraska skies Nebraska’s eyes

Sunday, Sunday Take me for a ride I cannot deny, I wanna be inside Of your head and all the places I cant say Cause If I touched you I’d burst into flames Sunday, Sunday Lift your heavy eyes I cannot deny that I am terrified Of pretty girls and pretty guys And all the drugs i’m afraid to try All the kids from the neighborhood who wave at me as I drive by In a suburban dream with slot machines Landlines that never ring Most of all I’m afraid of you Lovely, lovely Won't you recognize? There’s too many ears And not enough stop signs Kids tuck in their parents in rows of empty houses Abandoned couches on the curb soaked from the rain Will you follow me to New York City? We can wine and dine and talk ourselves to death about the subway lines Have a couple of kids, a couple divorces Buy a house in East Hampton and die

(Pts. 2 & 3) 04:52
Do you think of me when the chill comes for falling leaves? Slowly rotating your almond eyes as you sleep? I think of you, now and then when I’m alone Now that I’m gone, it finally feels like I belong Well, it gets cold when summer ends and we’re getting old It’s not a film, we don’t get to watch credits roll The glory days, they never came did they my old friend? Suburban dream, 115 times in my head

42nd Street 02:58
Afternoon, it’s starting to rain I don’t mind, I’ve got nowhere to be Come west to 42nd street Where the bricks and the concrete meet It’s called home I like walking through my city at night Starry skies over 42 and Pine Philadelphia smells sweet in the rain I know, I feel it through my windowpane 42nd Street
